You should be fine just as long as @Bad Frequencies isn't one of the people that was planning on going.

Life lesson: don’t plan life events around blink shows

    Or this works too

  3. This show was the first time they ever played “Please Take Me Home”, “Happy Holidays You Bastard”, and “Man Overboard” live.

  4. I remember KROQ would play concerts every two weeks after midnight on sundays. I recorded this concert from one of those broadcasts!i also recorded a BCR one.

Tom's Californian/Cockney accent hybrid delivery of "best toime we ever 'ad" in Please Take me Home is an all time vocal highlight in the history of music.

They actually first played Happy Holidays for the first time in another bootleg you posted on 5/25/2000 in New Jersey. They also played Mother's Day for the first and possibly only time live in 1998(!) which you can find on YouTube. Apparently Mark writes these joke songs years in advance.

  7. right right, this particular bootleg though was the first time they played HHYB full band.

uploading all of these bootlegs has made me realize too that they've always been the type of band that doesn't stray too far off the path when it comes to setlists. even early on, they played mostly the same songs and mostly the same order too a lot of times.

Oh yeah I've been saying that about the set lists for awhile here when people would complain about them. They have their formula and stick with it. They also never really played longer than 80 minutes. Most of their sets were around the 70 to 75 minute range.

I wish they would’ve recorded the “don’t judge my butt” song.

Most bands play the same songs in a certain order because their effects rigs are set up for it or because those songs are all in the same tuning.

But who knows really? They might just like how the set flows with the songs in that order.

Yeah I don’t expect bands to change throughout a single tour (because of effect rigs), but when they have basically the same set for multiple tours it’s a problem for me

Oh I'm right there with you. Especially when said band said they didn't want to become a legacy act - but they've done nothing to prevent that from happening. A deep cuts tour would be fun. It has to get boring playing the same thing every time you go out on the road.

  14. It'd be cool if they'd play this set again:

I think the TOYPAJ and Pop Disaster Tour have my favorite set lists. Good mix of old and newer songs. Once the Untitled album came out they basically stopped playing any non pre Enema singles.

I'm in the mood for new music. What're you all listening to recently?

I've been really digging the Pale Waves record, looking forward to the Black Honey record dropping tomorrow. Our Girl has been on decent rotation too.

  17. Olivver the kid and La Bouquet. Both the same singer but one is a solo project. The singer used to be the summer in the neighborhood but these two other projects are SO GOOD
