Yeah but then I wouldn't have a job and I couldn't afford to live in this house.

 

My job is sitting in a cold office under fluorescent lighting without music or recreational internet use

 

I usually do but lately its not been as bad cause I've been going to bed so tired I fall into a deeper sleep

 

Damn my boss won't let a co-worker have the afternoon off to attend a funeral. What a scumbag move.

 

That's...fucked up. Can you even do that?

 

If it's not immediate family, I suppose you can do that, yeah. Super fucked up though.

It's not mandated to let people off in the US for bereavement, in some other countries it is, though. Should be everywhere.

 

Bereavement leave only applies to immediate family members, which does not apply in this case. So yeah because he doesn't want to be understaffed this afternoon he can deny her PTO request.

 

I'm glad that my company is very laxed with that kind of stuff.

 

My job has been doing some really crappy stuff lately, and the morale is definitely down, but I've never really felt it until the last week or so. I'm usually pretty good at not letting stuff like that get to me, but man, I have no motivation and I kind of hate my job at this point. Weird

 

Same. I've all but given up. Might just transfer departments.

 

I literally just got off a call where I found out that my supervisor, who's a seriously great man and solid boss, is stepping down to work a different project for a few months. He was kinda the one thing holding me here, just cause he really helped develop my skills and gave me a chance and all that. But now, I don't even care. Wuddup dice.com.

Everyone should sign this petition. Such a disgusting ending to a horrible case. The survivor is so fuckin brave though.

The only Go Radio I liked was that first EP with two people laying down.

 

Yeah that one is strong. "Do overs and second chances". Very Mayday-esque. "You hold your breath, i'll hold my liquor", "Letters and love notes" and "Goodnight moon" Were all badass.

 

That would be cool. But usually it's students who create the clubs and faculty who moderate it. If any kids wanted a movie or music club though, I'd be so down.

I'm most likely taking over the newspaper though.

When my company got purchased by Nokia, they did most of their layoffs in the states because the labor laws aren't as tough here as they are in France.
