For the record, I think your statement that "nostalgic white boy music sucks" is pretty terrible, and if you replaced the word "boy" for "girl" it would be something that you would get angry at yourself.

Also, calling us shitty people for trying to calmly converse with you in a forum is in itself a rather shitty form of behaviour.

Furthermore to reiterate something that I've said before in this thread, shitty opinions are the backbone of this thread. Post them here, but you're inviting conversation about them. Engaging in these conversations in bad faith isn't going to help you especially when you accuse us of aggression where there wasn't really any.

On a somewhat similar note. Most guitar solos bore me. Don't get me wrong, there are certainly solos I absolutely adore. But they are few and far between. And most shredding is just a snoozefest

 

Agreed. My favorite solos in most songs are like 10-20 seconds long and usually just transition into a different verse or bridge or something.

This is one of my favorite guitar solos ever. I like stuff like this. Lich Prince also came to mind. They can be amazing when they aren't mindless.

 

I love solos regardless of length when they fit the song, what I don’t like is noodling for the sake of noodling
