Actual insane lineup.

 

If this is anything to go by, Miss May I and Fit For A King might be doing a tour together next year. If this is gonna be in North America, then I don't know which of those would be headlining, since FFAK have been getting bigger while MMI have been falling off in popularity hard.

 

Hasn't it pretty much been speculated/heavily hinted that there will be a second leg of TDWP doing more With Roots shows and that Fit For A King is most likely on the second leg? Honestly it wouldn't surprise me to see TDWP do With Roots on the second leg with MMI being direct support and doing all of Apologies Are For The Weak, and having Fit For A King be a support band as well. I agree with you that MMI have fallen off, but doing of Apologies would be enough to probably put them above Fit For A King.

 

TDWP confirmed that more dates are being added to that tour (they just said they are playing the venue I was at but I'm assuming more will be added on top of that). They said it would be in December though so it sounds like this tour is it's own thing.

 

Chicago date added to the Hobo Johnson tour - HOB Nov. 2nd

I guess they waited for after Riot Fest to announce it.

Chicago also got the Man Orch/Front Bottoms tour (Dec 8 at Aragon) and Kevin Devine added to the Saves the Day show.

 

Any word on if Chicago will be added as a stop for the Mom Jeans tour?

 

Yeah, it's November 8th at SubT. Wayyyyyyy too small of a venue.

 

Eh, what makes you think that? They played SubT the first time they toured here and didn’t sell out (I know they weren’t as big but still), then they played Lincoln Hall but it only really sold out because they were opening for Tiny Moving Parts, so there isn’t much to go by to say that it’s too small of a venue for them.

I guess we shall see in the coming weeks if tickets sell fast, if so I will eat my words.

I'm just saying, if that Tiny Moving Parts tour happened again, that lineup would be reversed. Mom Jeans are massive right now.

I’m at the Orlando Parkway Drive/ABR/TDWP show and Mike from TDWP said they’d be back in December. Stoked because they were fuckin SICK just now.

 

Waiting for that Parkway tour to end so they can announce more dates for the 10 yr Roots tour!
