have barely gotten to play because ive been out of state on family junk. got to hatch 8 7km eggs today and it was 7 alolans and a Porygon. gf hatch a Tauros. our salt was real.

 

Why is Porygon in those eggs?

 

gen iv evolve is the theory, as tangela was added as well

Hatched a second Farfetch'd and a Mr Mime, which isn't very good at all. I see about 20 Mr Mimes everyday lol.

 

Think I’m at a few Geodudes, a couple Meowths and Vulpix, a Diglet, then a Tangela and Porygon. Not the worst after ten eggs, but I’m still hoping I get the regionals.

I won’t be too surprised if I don’t get them based on the hatch rates though. Niantic wants to sell tons of incubators which makes total sense to make those the rarest.

 

They'll make them more common in the final week I suspect, when people who haven't found them get more vocally annoyed.

 

a friend of mine is in Ireland right now and has like 6 mr mimes so i'll be good to trade for him, just hoping for a khangaskhan.

 

Yeah, I've got a 25% regional hatch rate atm. Just need Tauros. Walking 4.7km for a Mr Mime was rather infuriating though when I see so many.

If I don't get Tauros, at least I'll be getting one when I go to the US next year.

 

I've got all regionals in like 10 eggs. I guess I got lucky.

1 Mr. Mime, 1 Kangaskhan, 1 Farfetch'd, 2 Vulpix and a bunch of crap.

It seems like Tauros is at least a little less common than the other regionals so you might have to search around a bit or try to trade. I see one every once in a while, but people whose countries have Mr. Mime and Kangas complain that they are EVERYWHERE which has never been the case with Tauros, IMO.

That seems like insanely good luck for 10 eggs considering I got none in that amount of time lol

 

yeah Tauros is not very common at all

 

don't have a lucky egg currently. should have enough coins tmrw to do it

 

Just need to hatch a Kanga and my quest of completing the Kanto dex will be done. Just hope one of these 9 I have incubating will be one.

This event is amazing. A Chansey, Porygon, and Hitmonlee all just spawned together.

 

Yeah, I opened the app up at walmart yesterday while waiting in line to get my prescriptions and got a Chansey, Hitmonlee, and a bunch of Geodudes. I'm really liking this event so far.

 

Chansey popped out at starbucks this morning and it was a great surprise. Have seen a ton of hitmonchan as well.

 

Better spawns than the last gen 1 event for sure. Caught 3 Lapras and have seen some Hitmonchan here as well

 

I really do think that this might be the last "hoorah" for gen 1. Like we still see them in the wild, but in terms of events for Kanto I think they might finally be done with it. The spawns have been incredible and it just makes it seem like they are trying to help players who haven't finished the dex finish it. To be honest, I'm okay with it. I'm over gen 1 even though I haven't finished it yet.

 

I agree - the fact that they're making regionals available wide is a good indicator that they want people to finish Gen1 (or give the opportunity) before Gen4 comes out in what I expect to be the immediate short term.
