people at work don't understand that i just want to be "work friends" and not see them outside of the mandatory 8-10 hours M-F i see them. they don't get that i get bored of people very quickly and if we hang out outside of work i would be sick of them ASAP and ruin the work relationship. and now today one of these work friends keeps messaging me every half hour or so like we're old chummy best buds or some shit and i could not give a shit less what she is saying to me to desperately strike up conversation.

why doesn't anyone realize that saying nothing to each other and doing things by yourself is the best? why why why.

I WISH I could move. Staying here in this house that’s drenched in memories just flat out sucks. But I just started my bachelors degree. I can’t just stop school now and obviously school is a lot more expensive in other places. I really need to stick it out here for the next ~year and a half but right now they feels like a lifetime. I’ve actually gotten a decent amount of matches since redownloading Hinge last weekend but they’re all people I liked first haha. That’s totally cool but I have no idea how to have interesting conversations on apps anymore. If I get a response I have nothing to follow up with. The matches are a good confidence boost at least.
