    Maybe so, maybe not.

Luigi's in Clinton Hill is very solid, but I am also biased because it's two blocks away. Mike's Coffee Shop—a super hole-in-the-wall diner next door that's usually full of Pratt students—has become a true go-to for me though. Fucking love it there. So cheap, so goddamn good.

Can't go wrong with any of the pizza's listed in this thread. Another one to add to the list that I feel gets overlooked.

NY Suprema Pizza right outside MSG

New Yorkers: my boyfriend’s sister is moving to NYC for a job. We are visiting over thanksgiving. She is INSISTING we go to whatever this rooftop thing is and there are no prices listed. Can anyone tell me how fucked my bank account will be if we go here so I can convince her it is a bad idea?

lol yeah if you google it it has three $$$

Rooftops are rarely ever a good idea. Overpriced EVERYTHING and in November a rooftop might not even be worth it

get drunk somewhere else then go to a rooftop bar, preferably no cover, which there should be plenty.

Also lol I’ll be in NYC staying with my boyfriend’s godparents on the upper west side so if anyone knows of a place near there where I can have a good lox bagel I would love recommendations for that also. Let me pick ur brains. I want to live in NYC so badly.

Heading to NYC tomorrow. Going to the Fallon Show at 3:45 and the Comedy Cellar at 10. Looking to hit a good dinner spot that I've never been to in between. Any recs for any spots somewhere in either one of those general areas?

There’s a lot of good food in the area. Not sure if you’ve had Ethiopian before, but Meskerem is on Macdougal and is one of my go-tos.

there's definitely more options in the village by the Comedy Cellar than in Midtown by Fallon

How expensive are you looking to go when it comes to that dinner? A few doors down from Comedy Cellar is Minetta Tavern.

Super nice, super old school, with a famous (and absolutely incredible) burger. If you want a cheaper situation—and still want a burger!—hit up Corner Bistro. My favorite burger in NYC and one of my favorite bars to just sit and slam down cheap McSorley's mugs and talk to strangers. You will likely need to wait in line there and it is cash only.

Sounds interesting, I'll look into it, thanks for the rec! Was just looking at a place called Cuba in the Greenwich area too.

    Edit: It looks phenomenal!

Thanks for the recs. Both sound great. Slamming down some cheap McSorleys sounds like a great idea before the comedy show!

There's a ton of options, its a bit overwhelming Googling it.
