This is so good, 4/4. Can’t wait to get off work to listen again. If I’m betting on any band releasing a great album it’s going to be these guys, most consistent group out there right now.

So the band basically makes a free form jazz-pop track. The horns/sax in the background is insane.

Idk how they’re going to play it live if they do lol

I think I’d like it better without the choir. It’s cute once in a while but I don’t want it to become a thing.

Matty making selfaware and self referential lyrics is a thing
Programming the drums is a thing


You can make anything a thing of this band, just enjoy it for what it is. If you don’t like it, the band will most likely use it when they see fit

 

One of the things I love most about this band is that they know what works for each particular song, but really go for it when they do it instead just sprinkling it in.

 

Hahahahaha choir is everything

 

Got my good headphones on, a few glasses of wine in, and yeah this song hit me hard

 

This album is going to be incredible.

 

I am so thankful to have this band.

 

Lol the phrasing of the chorus with the choir reminds me of Hit Me Baby One More Time

 

Imagine being George and recording snare on a phone, what an animal it sounds so great

 

I love this one, might be my favorite of the bunch

 

George is starting to rival Kevin Parker as my favorite producer currently making music

 

Mattys voice on these songs, particularly the melodies he’s written and his inflection in singing them, are out of this world good and packed with so much emotion it almost hurts to listen to in the best way.

 

And this song is the best released so far - EACH SINGLE GETS BETTER THAN THE LAST

Tootime's good but figuring out how it beats out the first two is a headscratcher for sure, those are two dimes
