Just saw the trailer. Holy shit does it look awful.

 

Watching trailer reactions for this is a lot of fun.

 

Ohhhh man. I didn't even think of that. That sounds awesome.

Robin is the only one who looks right. I can't believe this will be the flagship show lol.

 

Oh my God. That's just embarrassing .

 

Their look doesn't seem to match this gritty tone they're going for. I'll reserve judgement until I see reviews popping up or watch it for myself.

 

Like is Starfire supposed to be a stripper in this?

 

Everything just looks so cheap.

 

Don’t get the hate. Looks cool. Looks like a TV show.

 

I mean, I never watched any Titans stuff, so I don’t have any real expectations on looks.

Like Jason said, it looks like a TV show cast.

Do I think it looks great? Nope. But I don’t think it looks horrendous either. The performances and writing could overcome average costumes for me. They do it a lot on the CW DC shows, though I’m way behind on all those now.

This is what people are used to on TV now. Even Martian Manhunter looks pretty good.

Titans does look like a TV show though, but just a bad one. That trailer was really awful.

 

All the Titans would fit right in on those shows. There’s so many characters more ridiculous on those. Using that as the bar proves my point.

 

I love when people use the Arrowverse as an example. Arrow is really bad now. Flash isn’t very good. Legends is just weird.

This isn’t some basition of quality here we’re talking about. If we get season 2 level Arrow it’ll be shooting very high.

 

I mean come onnnnnn.

 

People are just expecting too much because of the history of ....

lol.

 

Luckily the Hawks have only been in the first season. But yeah if this was a part of the Arrowverse the Titans wouldn't look much different either. Hard to imagine that vision for Starfire though

 

Arrow has been really bad since season 2. The point was the look of the characters....

Robin looks like he's the one one that had care put into him.

 

I have to disagree. Legends (after season one) is pretty solid and Flash seasons 1 & 4 are pretty good as well. The biggest problems with Titans are the awful, awful costumes and the Arrowverse does them much better. Beast boy is completely wrong.

 

Yeah, it's not the quality of the show, it's the dumb costumes.

 

They all look a lot better there.....but photoshop.

 

I do like Beast Boy's jacket.

 

I just don't like the aesthetic of this show at all
