If there's a drinking meetup outside the fest, I might be there. My travel plans to go look at houses this weekend got cancelled because of Florence, and I'm taking it for a little R&R and Fallout 4 time so no Riot Fest related events for me, but it's been fun commiserating during this roller coaster with y'all so why not celebrate?

 

Metro is a concert venue so drinks are pretty pricey. Maybe even be more than Riot Fest. But don't let that dissuade you!

 

Drinks might actually be cheaper at Riot Fest than at Metro. LoL.

 

Def not. U can get Lagunitas and the like for $7 I believe at Metro. Think RF was up to $8 or $9 last year

 

Yep, you can get good beer for $6 or $7 at the Metro. It will definitely be cheaper than Riot Fest.

 

well, regardless, neither are good for cheap drinks. y'all are better off hitting a place like The Flat Iron for the cheap stuff.

 

Well yeah. I think it's kind of shitty to do a meet up at a ticketed event that isn't the festival, anyway.

Chicago has plenty of places that sell cheaper beer but most places are unfortunately in that $5-10 range and it's absurd.
