  1. I liked Creation, though I would agree that the Conjuring movies are much better. Never saw the first Annabelle.

I feel like the Annabelle movies are kinda lower grade horror like a lil cheesy tho that can be my bias against doll movies because I'm like it's a DOLL like punt it out the window. The conjuring movies are better made imo.

I love the first Conjuring, like the second, haven't seen Annabelle 1 and thought Creation was bad and boring.

Caught The Nun last night. The imagery of the Nun was good at times, but man was the story thin and there were multiple instances where I laughed. Character decisions were dumb. Dialogue at times was dumb. While the tie-in for the Conjuring universe was interesting, they just chose to completely ignore that Taisa and Vera Farmiga are sisters in real life and not connect their characters at all? Seemed like a missed opportunity to me.

Essentially, if you’re gonna see it, bring a friend that usually sits in fear throughout horror movies so you can have a laugh.

A huge dude cosplayed as the Nun at Dragon Con and it was one of the most unsettling things I've seen in a long time. He stayed totally silent and didn't really look at anyone directly, he was just there. Walked by him in tight quarters and almost lost it.

Oh I thought Taissa was cast as a younger version of Lorraine. I guess that doesn't make sense given what I've seen though

I'm curious about the nun now because my dad and sister both saw it and both came to different conclusions of how it ended and I'm like how lol

I thought Creation was decent on first viewing but liked it more the second time around.

You summed up my thoughts The Nun pretty much perfectly. Beautiful location and set pieces, but that was about the only thing I found redeeming.

It was a fun watch. Villain was pretty memorable. I hope to see more of him. Some cringe worthy deaths. Someone brought up in a previous post that women take a noticeably greater amount of punishment than any men in the film, which I thought about going into it and definitely found to be true. I’m curious if that was intentional or not.

  19. Ya it's S4, and it's all airing consecutively for 6 days. The whole season goes up on VOD after the premiere too.

The fact that people are more excited about AHS than this show will always baffle me

S1 got added to Shudder so probably going to start that tonight after What Keeps Us Alive

  21. It's lower budget, lower profile, and doesn't get nearly as much advertising. I'm not too surprised. I do wish more people would check it out, though. Pretty sure more than half the posts in the Channel Zero thread are from me lol.

Think I did post once upon a time. The last one was nuts, fuck that ominous stairway lol. Gonna watch them all front to back now, but it's SO much better than AHS. I get why it's less popular, but it is very strange to me that the horror faithful haven't latched on more

  23. Ya last season was creepy af. If it ever gets put up on Netflix or something, I think it could gain a bigger following.

Shudder is a start, I know a few of my irl friends hopped on recently. Hoping the viewership grows, definitely deserves it
