In regards to the after shows, I'm impressed by anyone that can go to a concert for 10 hours and then follow that up by going to a concert. And then go to sleep and wake up for another 10 hour concert. Although that State Champs show is very tempting........

 

The only difference I see is daily vip is $10 less, but here's the groupon page

I'm torn between the pizza party and Emo Nite. Emo Nite is a lot of fun and might be more appealing to some of the people I'm going with, but the pizza party is also so much fun.

 

I've gotten a couple emails saying the tickets are almost gone, which at first seemed not true, but I guess a combo of the $99 tickets plus how many single days they just gave away to everyone who already had a ticket and it kind of makes sense.

 

Also somewhat torn because either could end up being fun. I wish I had the slightest idea who was playing the pizza party lol

 

Yea that would be nice lol I'm kind of leaning Emo Nite cus it seems fun to drink and sing along to songs. Pizza Party is fun but I'm not familiar with the bands announced already and don't know who the headliner is. But then I'll hate myself if it ends up being someone I love so.

of all the after shows, i know it was talked about briefly, anyone else hitting up the emo karaoke on friday? it’s not an “official” after party, but originally i was gonna go to stte champs before i decided this is way more fun haha.

plus, i’ve already given riot fest enough of my money. i’ll keep my $50 from state champs and spend it on emo karaoke — that’ll show them!

 

If i'm not totally exhausted for the day I may hit that up

Beat Kitchen is in Bucktown which is basically the other side of the city from Douglas Park, it’s a great venue just pretty far from Douglas.

 

I bought 7 3-Day Passes at full price so I received 3 of those single day tickets. I'm hoping to make a little off of them since I got screwed lol (just like everyone but 7 tickets was a commitment).

Nah, it is in Roscoe Village. Which is even further from Douglas than Bucktown. But not really the other side of the city.

 

Fuck this festival. Fuck their total lack of customer service skills. Fuck their inability to effectively communicate with people who have spent hundreds of dollars to attend this thing. 6 years of going. Last time, Riot Fest.
