I’d expect it for sure based on past trends. Has the stock online dropped off at all?

 

For the X? I'm not sure. I'm not 100% sold on the X yet either cuz of the price. If the price drops a bit though I'm down for it.

 

Rumors are that the new X will be coming in below what they did last year, with the X plus taking over at the 1k price point. If that’s the case I can’t see them selling an old X for more than a new one, so yeah I would think a price drop will be happening. At any rate you might as well wait a couple weeks anyway unless you absolutely need one ASAP.

 

I might be moving to the US for at least a year (work), I already own an iPhone 6 but I'm just wondering if it's more economical to just get a postpaid plan and a new phone in the process, or is it fine just going prepaid?

I'm considering my options and I'm not exactly sure if carriers in the US work the same way as the ones locally.

 

I'm definitely going to pre-order an iPhone XS as soon as they go live on the Apple Store. I can't wait!

So question for Apple Music people who use "smart playlists". Is there a reason why they don't match up between my computer and phone? It seems like it's treating my computer and phone as two separate sources and I would like them to sync up and match. Is there a setting I'm missing?

Apple Music *finally* separates albums from singles & EPs on artist pages... a change that’s literally been requested since Apple Music launched. Sometimes Apple confounds me...

 

Its pretty awesome, and with the iOS 12 update, you'll be able to use different GPS' if you don't like Apple Maps. Carplay is so so good

 

Several months later, AirPods are one of my favorite tech purchases ever. Seriously can’t imagine going back, and I use them constantly.

 

I haven’t had a single issue using apple maps on CarPlay. Ive had waze take me through a shit show many times.

 

I've used mine every single day since I've gotten them. I'm shocked I haven't lost them yet. Definitely agree on it being one of my favorite tech purchases ever.

This is the first, and likely last time I'm hearing this. Montreal is an absolute disaster when it comes to construction, I can't leave the house without opening Waze up. The city also has a partnership with Waze where they provide all of the official closures, etc. That helps a lot.

Really, REALLY, looking forward to having it on CarPlay.

 

Waze is really really good in my experience. I trust it more than Apple or Google maps. I'm sure accuracy varies on where you are commuting though.

 

Ok, I really shouldn't blame Waze for Winnipeg's shitty infrastructure. I usually know the routes around here and do pretty well but when I used the Waze app it took me through a shit show the few times I used it. I'm pretty sure apple maps takes into account traffic as well because it will bold streets that are congested in red and not take you on those routes. I haven't had an issues with it so far.

I visited Montreal this summer and I definitely would just take the Metro if I lived there permanently. I agree that your traffic is insane lol.

 

The names (Xs, Xs Max, and Xr) are atrocious. The 64 bit Apple Watch will save the day.

If they're available in that many colors, it sounds like that is a good bet.

 

Pretty sure all of the Xr leaks have shown a glass back with aluminum band.

 

I'm most intrigued in seeing prices. I know it's been rumored they will be dropping the price of the X successor to $900, but I just don't know if I believe that. The upper end of the Xs Max could very well be close to the $1,400-$1,500 mark.
