Don't recreate the scene, or reinvent the meanings Supporter

The singer has been on a few podcasts in the last year and he is definitely a legit hardcore and heavy music fan. The fact they are getting a great response from a younger audience like Turnstile, Code Orange, and Power Trip has me interested to see what comes next.

The singer in Candy is the same dude from Malfunction, correct?

Candy songs sound pretty good. Kinda reminds me of early Blacklisted.

Thought so. Malfunction was a good band in the brief time they were around

While we’re reminiscing about older records, Trash Talk’s s/t and Plagues turned 10 this year. Still 100% bangers.

Axe to grind asked what the best hardcore records since 2010 are and I noticed the two most mentioned are Incindiary and Rival Mob.

Which Rival Mob record? Mob Justice? Good songs but the volume is way waaaay too low and I prefer the promo tape

Hardcore For Hardcore. Which isn’t an LP but still worth mentioning I guess.

Hardcore definitely isn’t what it used to be but there are still some bands holding the torch.

I would say the new Turnstile is one my favorite released since 2010.

I’ve probably listened to How The Gods Chill more tan any other hardcore record since 2010.

The new album is good, I enjoy it a lot. But I prefer and return to Nonstop Feeling much more.
