I was intending to wait until morning to preorder because I couldn't see them announcing US dates in the middle of the night, but I couldn't sleep, so I happened to be awake when it went up and got my music bundle right away. Not sure I need a cassette, but I wanted both the vinyl and CD, so I'm happy.

I'm not sure what to get.

I listen almost exclusively digital and don't own a record player or a CD player.

I do have a cassette in my 04 Camry! But I mostly just want merch.

Edit: I am dumb. All those shirts come with digital album .

Which art movement/artist is the cover artwork inspired by? Neo-plasticism? I was at MOMA recently and pretty sure I saw a painting that the artwork is reminding me of.

 

i'm doing some design training at work and we are learning swiss design in grids and the first like two months all I did was design layouts with little boxes and it reminds me of that:

I think it might be a bit. They probably want to try and ride the TOOTIME wave for a bit. Also, they initially had said 4 singles before the album and we’re already at 3 with 2 1/2 months left until the album is out. Then again, they probably said that when it was supposed to be released in October, and not the Novemberiest November date possible.

 

I would be happy if they don’t release any other songs before the album is out.

I know I could just not listen, but I can’t resist haha.

I'm watching the O2 show on my Smart TV now. Wow, I forgot how amazing it is.

 

Is it just me or anyone noticing some subtle differences in clarity of the already released songs that have been posted within the album on apple music today? I'm thinking about that picture that was posted of the tape reel which could imply they were doing some mastering up until recently.. not sure if its actually different or if my mind is tricking me

I actually thought this when listening to GYAT. But it’s been weeks since I’ve heard it so came to the same conclusion that it’s my mind playing tricks.

I think we have 2 more songs until the album but I could be wrong...I think the reply was after GYAT was released already; and they said there would be 4 MORE songs released until the album comes out.

 

Considering the album is only 58 minutes I'd rather there be no more released. Especially since we've only heard like the first 1/4 of the album

 

I'm not listening to any more. I'm happy with the three we have. Ready for the full thing now.
