Only non main stage bands I want to see are ETID, Knuckle Puck and Masked Intruder

I would like to see almost every band on main stage. Only bands off it would be Knuckle Puck, Against the Current, Broadside, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! and Every Time I Die, but I wouldn't mind missing any of those.

how easy is it to find your way to each stage/roughly how long does it take to walk between stages? do you get a site map when you get there or anything like that? (coming over from the UK and i've never been before). also is there anything else i need to know?

will be leaving main stage for knuckle puck, like pacific, and broadside.

You can buy a map once you walk in (for $2 i believe) with all the set times and a map with all the stages/main amenities such as restrooms, first aid, etc. At my date, the stages are very close together, and I would say the furthest two stages were about a 7 minute walk at most, very convenient, but then again other dates may differ. The only thing you'd need to know that I can think of is that the merch tents usually close at around 6 pm (from my experience) while the show ends at 9 ish, so buy your merch around the middle of the day if you plan on buying any.

I usually try to arrive 30 minutes to an hour prior to gates opening. They do a thing called "Skip the line". If you bring non expired or non dented canned food you get a wristband to get in a couple minutes early. Really helps so you can get in earlier and get used to the layout.

Anyone else not feeling Waterparks? Seems like AP are hyping these guys heavy, along with hype from the Madden bros. I don't see anything special.

I feel like one of the few people on here that have bought the hype. Their EP is infectious and super catchy and they are great live.

If SWS plays a bunch of older stuff (hopefully from LCTT) and Kellin sounds good, I'll see them this summer.

They for sure have a lot of money behind their buzz, it's extremely forced.

Yeah, I like Waterparks but they very likely have someone throwing a bunch of money at their promotion. Reminds me of when Crown The Empire was being hyped up right around the time The Fallout was released and it felt so inorganic. Decent band, but someone in their camp has deep pockets.

I remember reading on AP that CTE bought Facebook likes and stuff like that, so I've always been a little put off by that.

I believe it. I remember when I first started following them they went from about 100,000 likes on Facebook to around 300,000 in a matter of days. I heard one of the members comes from a loaded family and his dad pretty much paid their way onto tours and whatnot.

I really do enjoy their music, though. I'm torn on how to feel about CTE. The Resistance is one of my favorite "Scene" Metalcore albums in recent memory.

Yeah AP and the madden bros are pushing them. Disappointed they got a spot on the AP warped cover over bands like RBF NFG and LTJ

What tracks would you recommend would prefer recs from someone on here instead of AP or another magazine

I remember AP posting an article called something like "15 things to know about Waterparks before they get huge". Sounds like they are trying to go after the 5SOS crowd.

Agreed on the Warped Tour AP covers. They usually aren't my thing, but this year's choices just seem awful.

They could have done a sick throwback cover with Sum 41, YC, NFG, GC, LTJ etc but they blew it

Yes! One throwback would have been awesome, but that isn't their target market LOL.

    Things have changed.

Less Than Jake is going to sell about 5 magazines in 2016.

Are we going to do a most anticipated list this year?

I was honestly so curious about them after seeing all the hype on Alternative Press (I still check that site out daily for music news because they often get exclusives still for whatever reason). They're not bad, very poppy with some pop-punk elements thrown in. Their last release, the Cluster EP, is definitely their most interesting work, after having checked out their two older EPs, and has some fun songs on it. I'd just listen to that and see what you think from there. It's only 5 songs. Of those five, I like "Crave," "Pink," and "No Capes" best. I guess it just depends on your mileage for sugary-sweet pop-rock with mild pop-punk and electronic background touches thrown in. And their singer kind of sounds like Alex Gaskarth mixed with the guy from Boys Like Girls, if that's your thing.

Long story short: for a younger band, I think they show some promise in their chosen sub-genre. I'll be checking out their debut full-length that is apparently coming out later this year to see if they're going to be worth keeping up with going forward.

Would've been epic to see all those guys on a cover together.
