The more I listen to this album the more I realize Throw Me to the Lions is my favorite

 

The more I listen to it the more I LOVE ‘Stay’. I relate to it so much. At least my interpretation of it.

Back when my fiancée and I were only 2-3 years into our relationship, she was diagnosed manic depressive/bipolar. Before she was diagnosed though there were days where things got very heavy and tested us. This song reminds me of those days where the clouds would pass and we’d make it through what was going on in her head.

(Don’t worry, she was diagnosed and got help. 8 years in and we are getting married in less than 50 days)

I think Demon and Division is my new favorite Trio song.

 

Also, I have a big itch to see them again. Hopefully they come back at some point in the Spring, since I'll have so much free time by then.

 

This is a perfect Alkalkne Trio song.

 

I think the title track may be an all time great Trio song.

I've racked up dozens of listens so far and it only just occurred to me that Sweet Vampires references Cringe with the "both bleeding from our eyes" line... well probably. Doesn't seem a huge stretch with all the callbacks in Stay

 

I feel so dumb for not realizing this
