This is after a Warped Tour where I reapplied sunscreen every 30 minutes. That's a burn and not a tan.

 

Yeah that's pretty much how it works for me too.

Stomach ache but my week is going alright. Lots of working but it's fine. I'm starting to really like working with my managers and co workers, now that I've been there for two months I'm pretty much part of the circle, and everyone's super nice and really cool

 

And I just found out that Male roommate has the flu. Just wonderful. Looks like I'll be cleaning the house top to bottom this weekend so that I don't get the flu. I just got over a sinus infection.

 

I found an old diary from when I was like 13 and actual entries said things like "Man, this world is so messed up. Why don't people just get that the world would be a much better place and our problems would all get fixed if we all just listened to what Jello Biafra has to say??"

 

I feel so bad for you and your people. Last time I went to Warped I was a dumbass who didn't wear sunscreen and I just got a nice crisp tan. I very rarely burn. I smother myself in sunblock and I still tan through it. Which would be cool but I'm a nervous wreck about skin damage and I would rather the sun didn't penetrate through everything I threw at it.

 

Had to Google who that was. I was never really punk.

 

Apparently this year's flu shot didn't work or isn't lasting as long as they thought it would. It's been going around a lot here.

 

Jello was my idol. He was my first foray into any kind of politics and I thought he was a genius. I was like legit distraught that we as a society were not taking him seriously.

 

They always say that about flu shots. I've never had one.

 

Thankfully he's leaving for Apple training on Sunday and will be gone for 3 weeks. Go get someone over there sick so I can clean the condo and kill your nasty dirty germs. He's such a slob. I honestly don't know how female roommate can be engaged to someone so lazy and messy. they are both slobs so I guess that is the reason. I just told female roommate we are washing walls and floors this weekend. I can't afford to get sick again.

 

I have OCD and the two of them have whatever is the opposite of OCD. I told fiance that he needs to hurry up on the whole buying a house thing so I can GTFO of that condo with the slob twins. My room and bathroom are the only two rooms that are clean 24/7. If I clean the living room and kitchen, its destroyed hours later like a bomb went off. Like wtf? also, is it so fucking hard to take your shoes off when you walk in the door in the winter time? Who the hell wants to track in snow and ice melt and dirt? My mom turned me into a Cleaning Monster.

 

my family is Italian - half Naples, half Sicilian, so both southern Italian genes - so we all tan beautifully if i say so myself. my mom's fully Sicilian so she naturally has darker skin, but most of us have an olive tint to our skin except one sister whom we used to tease by saying she was adopted from Sweden, but even she's super pale and tans really well. even as someone who hates the sun and outside in general it's p nice

 

My mom and sister get really tan and my dad and I burn.

Anyone remember that story about the woman who tanned herself into a leather bag? She's from Nutley a town over.

 

Also I don't know how but we lost.

And my knee has swollen.

 

About to embark on a 6+ hour drive to snowboard the next 3 days, adios suckaaassss
