Sooooo does anyone think they might still drop the “special headliner” or that it’s not happening anymore? They didn’t go back and “fix” the statement from Riot Mike to exclude that..which they easily could...so can I hope or nah

 

Glad it’s finally over. Hopefully a lesson learned for them: it’s better to under promise and exceed then over promise with ???? and disappoint

 

I think when they initially put the ?????? on the lineup, they basically meant that they would be adding more bands and they hoped for a headline type. I really don't think it was one specific band they had in mind.

 

This would be the first time it meant that.

 

If they had any inkling the ???? wasn’t going to be a headliner I think that’s pretty shitty.

Psyched on rtj tho, that is gonna be wild.

 

I think that we honestly know 2/3 headliners next year if you ask me.

 

I’m bummed at how little I want to go on Saturday.

 

I just don’t get how they dropped a poster last night with ???? Headliner and just aren’t gonna address that

 

Unless they someone got even more popular this past year, I didn’t think RTJ was big enough to headline Riot Fest. Especially having their name listed before Incubus

 

Just Friends are going to be a fucking party.

 

yeah, really surprised to see them headlining over incubus. but that just means i can watch a full incubus set, leave during RTJ and miss on a little bit of traffic leaving

 

Their ticket prices are still insane. Friday’s page for two days is still jacked up compared to the same passes on Saturday and Sunday.

What are they doing...

 

Wait so is it cheaper to get the 3 day rather than two day? Wtf I also noticed they raised the single price it was $49 earlier today, weird

 

Weekend passes only look cheaper because they aren’t rolling up fees. They haven’t raised the single days but are showing prices with fees now for some of the tickets. It seems all in effort to bump up weekend pass sales but having drastically different prices for two-days between which page you choose feels scummy.

 

I bought a State Champs aftershow ticket because I'm weak. Also, I figured since I'm not a big fan of either opener, I can go back to where we're staying to destress a bit and then take a Lyft to Bottom Lounge.

 

Caved and bought a Sunday ticket! Hype for alkaline, twy, and RTJ.

always thought that band was wildly underrated

 

The only time I saw them that’s memorable to me is at the old Bottom Lounge when their singer screamed into my face.

 

WTF are all of you complaining about the Saturday lineup for? It's fucking great. Jesus Lizard, The Adolescents, Killing Joke, Hot Snakes, Cobra Skulls, Gwar, Conflict, Mannequin Pussy, and Beach Bunny are all solid acts. Plus I'd probably see Elvis and Andrew WK too.

 

One of the main reasons I’m staying all of Sunday now. I’ve never seen them and I’ve always wanted to.

 

Pretty bummed no one is excited for Health. Love those guys so much, I'd almost buy Saturday tickets just for them.
