On vodka: for sure my go to. Give me a bottle of New Amsterdam and a Red Bull and I'll have myself a great night.
On malort: had it once, didn't live up to the hype. As in I didn't think it was any worse than any other shot. But I was also pretty drunk by the time I had it and also starting to get sick so who knows.

 

You wouldn't get sick if you avoided vodka.

 

Her full band sets are really good too. She has a really good/loyal Chicago fan base so that set will be lots of fun.

 

Makes sense, Travis was probably going to play 2 or 3 songs as Baron Von Tito

 

I don't know why this just popped in my head but a few years ago someone I used to work with told me he saw Joy Division play Riot Fest and he told me that I was wrong when I said they disbanded in the 80's and Ian Curtis had died.

Especially because they had those fireworks that went off at then end. I remember hearing those and looking at my watch and being surprised they were just ending.

 

I'm always speechless with those types of people at that point. Like "Oh...oh okay, so you're special. I'm sorry, I didn't know that. I'll just leave this one alone then."

How long have the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday boxes been up there? They still link to 3-Day passes, but I don't remember seeing this until now.

can confirm it’s a good time! they come to columbus every month and it’s incredible.

i wanna go to this next week, but songs usually get picked pretty quick at doors (9pm next friday), so if i go i might just end up only as a spectator haha

 

how have we not have The Strokes at riotfest?

 

They don't really tour that much anymore since Albert and Jules have their own things going on. I figure The Voidz might be the closest we ever get.

 

Late to respond to this but I was also at that show! It was so special. They've come such a long way in literally a year

 

I first heard of them when the first wave was released and now they are one the bands Im most excited to see. Im even going to their after show
