these shows are pretty rad.......more power to you guys if you can stand for 12 hours and then go to another concert. I was hoping State Champs would be added to the actual lineup. Maybe they still could be I guess.

 

I’m 22 and there’s no way in hell I can do the fest all day and an after show. The MCS after show would’ve been a different story though.

 

i am so intrigued by Malort but everyone sells it and tell me to stay far away at the same time

 

I surprised myself this weekend and managed to stay out till about 4:30am, so maybe I do have it in me to do a full day and after show. I'll see what my friends are up for. Last year I had to go the The Menzingers acoustic show by myself haha.

Haha they will but the last 4 times I've seen them they've played the first 6-8 tracks in a row as a part of their setlist.

 

Here is the experience.

You will take the shot. It will just taste like some shitty liquor. You'll think "what's the big deal?"

A moment will pass, then you'll start noticing a faint, horrible taste on the back of your tongue.

The taste will rise in strength and broaden in area. After a minute, your entire mouth is overwhelmed with it.

Worse, it will linger. Not for seconds, not for minutes. For the next hour, that taste will overwhelm anything else that goes in your mouth. There is so way to rid yourself of it. For the next 60 minutes, it's a part of who you are. Every beer will taste like Malort. Those french fries will be instantly coated in your Malort tainted saliva.

For the next hour, you are not a person. You are merely a testing ground for mankind's sickeningly perverse experimentation of unique ways for living creatures to intentionally torture themselves.

TL/DR - Malort kinda sucks.

i really wanna do emo karaoke friday. but that emo band comes to columbus every month so i might not go to the one in chicago. plus doors/sign ups for that are at 9 which means i’d have to miss most of weezer probably and idk about that haha

The 2016 show at Concord took a while, I assumed these would be safe for at least a few hours.
