    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

This is my first time listening to that Lagwagon record they're playing and this is so, so, so sick.

This makes sense but I hope it’s not what happens. Give it all to me today.

also, has anyone pointed out that in their statement, riot said “we’ll start rolling things out at 10am central”

does this mean they’re announcing things throughout the day? or maybe some of you are right where they “start” by just announcing a little tomorrow and then more on monday

I personally don’t want any games or hints today. Just release what we’ve been waiting for.

I really hope that they release the schedule and not just the day breakdown, but I doubt we will be that lucky. And of course I have a meeting at 10 so I am going to miss out on the actual announcement right when it happens. It figures!

I hope they give us a schedule too. Bands really need to plan out their day at the event ie- interviews, set time, etc. I don't think they can send out any info to the press until the schedule is official. Waiting until next week gives the 80+ acts several days to work it out. Keep in mind a lot of the press are not Chicago residents and therefore will likely be unable to talk Thursday, giving them Mon-Wed only to work out their entire weekend of coverage. Not cool.

Definitely. And if some bands really didn't know what day they are playing there's a lot of tour managers who are losing their shit more than they normally do until they know...

Hoping they announce more bands and dailies, with after shows going on-sale at noon (or at least Monday at noon--though Fridays make more sense for ticket on-sales).

I would put my money on daily line-ups and after shows today.

Well Cher just announced a show at the UC so if any of you thought she'd be the last headliner, you would be wrong!

I'm hoping for a schedule, but not banking on it. I always assumed the press and bands would get it a day or two ahead of the public but clearly this isn't the case... Again, interesting to learn the background around all this!

I feel like Bauhaus is the odds on favorite in this thread - but I like a longer shot. I could see it being Rancid, or even Op Ivy. But I'd put my hard earned money on Rancid.

I would put Op Ivy as a further shot than Bauhaus.

That explains why someone in my office has been playing her song "Believe" on repeat.

Agreed completely. I was just saying I never take the cheapest bet and I'd bet on Rancid. (I have no connection to the fest, pure pot stirring here.)

    Bauhaus - 3 to 1
    Rancid - 9 to 1
    Op Ivy - 50 to 1
