I'm down for a Coheed/311 tour. Hell yeah. Good tunes all night long.

Also, get Bad Rabbits to open.

311 rules. The stigma attached to them is stupid. Transistor is a killer album. Pretty much everything they did before Don't Tread On Me is consistently good.

 

I would absolutely go to that tour.

 

I Set My Friends on Fire, Lil Lotus, Kaonashi northeast tour

Blue album and Transistor are solid albums

 

I will be at any coheed tour, and trust me, they have had some bad openers before smh

 

This last tour was really the only time I’ve been meh on Coheed openers

 

Like who? They seem to bring out some pretty good bands. They've toured a lot with Circa Survive and they had Saves The Day and Thank You Scientist opening the last few times I've seen them. I can't think of any cringey bands they've brought out. Maybe TSSF to a degree but they're really not as bad as everyone around here seems to think lately.

Don't forget the Clutch/Coheed/Fall Of Troy tour from 2007 I think. Such an odd, but cool combo.

 

The Dear Hunter, BTBAM, Porcupine Tree, Moving Mountains, PBTT, Russian Circles, Balance and Composure plus the previously mentioned ones. All great.

 

The last time I saw Coheed, Glassjaw was an opener. It was rad af

 

Except for the fact that Glassjaw suck live.

(At the time. Saw them on their last tour, they were much better!)

 

Same! They were 12x better on their coheadliner this summer than they were on that tour

They’re kind of a hit or miss band live, really

 

don't get me wrong I like or at least respect both Coheed and 311 for what they are but they are both extremely corny bands. the things people in this thread hold to such a high standard/take super seriously are just weird to me

with that being noted, corny doesn't mean bad. most of the music I like is goofy as fuck. but holding one so far superior to the other just makes no sense

I think the last time I saw Coheed, Saves the Day opened for them and did that weird ass set where they didn't play any hits. And it was the last time I saw them
