I still kick myself for skipping Cure a few years ago at RF '14 but Weezer (with the right set) is great live. Bummer about Blink but at least they had good replacements.

This is like me picking places I want to travel to next year and them getting hit by hurricanes. It keeps happening.

 

Sounds to me like the main issues have been the headliners. If they announce daily lineups, but then end up having to switch around some bigger acts to different days due to headliners cancelling and having to be replaced, then single-day ticket holders would get fucked out of seeing bands they wanted to see. I'm sure they were trying to have everything set in stone before they start announcing. Sometimes life gives you lemons and they're trying real hard to make the best lemonade they can from those lemons. I assure you this was not their plan from the start.

A Riot Fest Bachelor party?

 

My single biggest concert-related regret. What on earth was I thinking? I just got suckered in with the Blue Album, but I realize now that they play those songs a lot anyway.

 

Ugh just remembered how terrible the crowd was for Weezer last time they were at Riot Fest. The part I was in was packed but completely dead and people were getting ridiculously angry if they were even accidentally bumped into. But also that stage was way too small if I recall.

 

That used to be my number 1 regret, now it's number 2.

Number 1 regret? Feeling "tired" and not going Friday of the fest in 2015.......never got to see Motorhead :(

 

Yes to everything you just said haha. That was a shit show of a stage and a horrible crowd indeed.

It didn't help that Weezer closed out a stage on what was the longest Riot Fest weekend I've gone through.
