Mayday Parade is basically my only favorite band that still tours so this is exciting. Honestly I probably would not have gone to see wrk without mayday so this was a good move I think

However kind of strange bc I feel like mayday leans into youth culture kinda and wrk leans way away (hahaha I swear that pun was not intended but I'm keeping it)

 

Also confirmed last week that we'd have new music in 3 weeks. So around 9/14.

Super excited for this. I have a feeling the sound will be a bit different than the first EP.

Looks like the US Moose Blood shows have been cancelled.

 

Don't care for Moose Blood but that sucks for Ryan

New EP out November 30th

 

The song rules. Love the percussion. I wish he wouldn’t layer his vocals back so much though. On my first listen I feel like the instruments come out ahead of his voice.

 

Song is solid. This dude just keeps pumping out tunes. I love it.

I don't remember being so impressed with Thirteen. These 2 new songs are gorgeous and I adore them! I was so sad to hear Yellowcard were moving on (because they are one of my favorites and also because Lift a Sail was such a beautiful new direction and I just wanted more), so I am very happy to have something that I am really excited about. Until then I'll have to give Thirteen another listen or 2!

 

The guitar in Old Friends makes me want to cry...

 

Looks like Ryan is playing at the Dear Jack Benefit Concert in Boston on 11/11
