Excited to finally see them live with Thrice/Gates.

 

These guys have barely written a bad song let alone a bad album. Huge potential and I hope we get something else from them eventually. Really liked the Tiny Dots soundtrack, especially St Paul live

Saw these guys last night in LA and was the only time they havent killed it.

Don't know if it was nerves but Jordan could not get the lyrics out without losing his breath and missing half of them.

Big fan of this band's lyrical content. Jordan can tell a great story.

their singles and EPs have some of their best songs

Really interested to see where they go after Rooms. One of those bands where the could go pretty much any direction and I think they'd find success.

I just hope they put out another album. At this point I kind of doubt it.

 

And why is that? It's only been two years since Rooms. They've waited 3 years between each record so far, so unless they've said something about calling it quits then I wouldn't be too surprised if they put something out next year.

 

I remember reading a couple interviews saying that they weren't even sure they wanted to do another record before Rooms and that they had no plans for the future. I think they also said that they would be ok with Tiny Dots being a kind of swan song.

Hoping Im wrong. Everything they've done so far has been top notch.

 

exactly the vibe i got when watching the tiny dots doc. i really hope its not the case but it sounded like kevin leaving left a gaping hole.

Rooms is their best yet. If they do intend on hanging it up soon, I'd love to get one more to see where they can go from Rooms, but Rooms would also be a high note to go out on so I'd be okay with that being their last too.
