all jokes aside, if i never heard all star again, i could probably die a happy man without having kids, grandkids, a house, or making anymore meaningful contributions to society.

 

That's probably going to be a pretty good show actually.

Speaking of....

A woman I used to work with moved out to LA and got a job where there are a ton of "fun perks." One of the perks was the company rented out a huge mansion in Hollywood Hills. She posted all of these videos of how nice the place/party looked and at one point filmed the band playing in the corner near a pool. No one (from what the video showed) gave a fuck about the band nor were paying attention.

One thing I’ll say being from Philly and knowing a decent amount about those guys. That stuff is all pretty much written about from a satirical standpoint and for laughs, and based off of people they knew in high school and stuff...it’s a bad look in 2018, but at the same time they are very similar to mindless self indulgence where they don’t really think the way they sing in their songs, Jimmy Pop did a lot for the gay community and showed up to a lot of stuff in the late 90’s 2000’s so locally he is treated by everyone as almost like a god. But yes unfortunately if you don’t know that about them they def look bad. Also, some of the songs towards the end of their run they stopped playing cause it was a bad look.

 

I commented on the video saying "holy shit! How'd they get Sugar Ray?" she responded with "how'd you know them?" I guess no one at this party knew who they were

 

Well that's what happens when you are the poster children of selling out.

this is the most fun day I had at "work" in a long time, it will only get better if we get the schedule
