My buddy messaged a band on Facebook and asked when they were playing and followed up by saying why he asked because of this huge delay. This is their response:

"I’m sure everything is fine. They wouldn’t cancel festival like that and run off without saying anything. I’m sure they are just sorting out details."

 

Where even was the band name in this paragraph?

The Sleep On It dude is the most affirming thing I have heard to be honest. I'd imagine they have pretty close contacts and he seemed very confident he knew why it was being held up.

 

Their manager works for Riot Fest.

I definitely don't buy the 2nd one. The Fallout Boy show was announced in like fucking December.

 

Yeah, the last one is a joke.

But the image they shared could be legit. I could see it being the case.

 

I think Fall Out Boy is in a different part of the country next weekend anyway.

 

The third headliner was supposed to be Oasis but theres some kind of sibling rivalry going on for the past 10 years that they are waiting to quiet down. Fingers crossed its in the next 5 days.

This is a wild fucking roller coaster. All of those anonymous posts that keep going up/down on Reddit with conflicting information on the regular (or just basically a "megapost" including all of the conspiracy theories that are being floated around the Internet)...

But. The Sleep On It guy's post saying it was all "postponed for a good reason" has me seriously intrigued and feeling optimistic again (against my best judgement).

i have a feeling they are legit pulling off a replacement even if it's the replacements... and the fest will go over smooth. but i do feel like those weird posts on reddit might be from people from the fest or that know something... too many people involved to not say a word even if its anonymous, well besides that fall out boy one that is
