short and sweet! I don't completely love it but its very pleasant and nice! Cody still probably my fave.

someone said something about the songs kind of being too short, I do definitely feel that all of them end pretty abruptly.

 

nha was 19 min, cody was 25. this is pushing 23 i think

 

no such thing as a too short joyce manor song imo

 

cf. how much does "catalina fight song" get across in only one minute

 

dont get me wrong, i dont mind short, just something about every song on it seems to end a little too early/abruptly for me i guess?

 

I like this way more than Cody already

 

i loooved cody but i'm already thinking this is their best record yet

 

I’m not sure anything will ever top the energy of NHA, or for that matter the self titled, for me. But I’m all for the path the band has gone down and am still really enjoying this.

 

Aside from NHA being my obvious favorite, I find it pretty much impossible to rank the rest of their discography. I like pretty much everything they've released the same amount but for different reasons.

 

i think cody has edged out nha for me at this point but catalina fight song is still my fav.

i love the end of big lie so much but what is he saying? “until we’re washed away, child.” ???

 

How can we misremember such sad, horrible times?

Don't get me wrong I don't think Cody is bad or anything, I am just rly loving this record
