Ummm... that is not a guitar, my dude. How do you write for a music publication and not know what instruments sound like. lol

Also, after reading that simple review, I'm actually much more excited for the album.

Mannnnnn I just wanna hear this thing already. Spider-Man for PS4 coming out this Friday and then next week Thrice, these 2 weeks for me are bliss.

 

I'm so glad my formative years preceded nu metal.

Thrice - Mike J's Track by Track (May 10th, 2020)

 

I'm working on something for The Predator right now. Like I said, I've been disrespected too much of late, and I really don't feel like setting myself up for more abuse. More importantly, I was only able to hear the record once in someone's car after a "function." I need more time with it before committing my thoughts to screen. I like the record, though. It made me happy upon its final note.

 

I feel like more of us like you than not. Like the majority stick up for you. I just wanna hear your thoughts my dude

I kinda think posting that you're not gonna post is setting yourself up for more comments from people to be honest. Like ... post or don't ... but saying you're not gonna multiple times is just weird to me.

(And I agree that one listen in a car is a bad way to judge the album.)

All I keep thinking is that I could be listening to this any day now.

 

The car is my favorite place to listen to music, very very loud. I feel like from hearing Only Us, I need to do a few with headphones as well once this comes out.

I’d love to get my hands on one of those but I’m sure they’ll be wicked expensive haha

 

That track-by-track review was kinda bad but at least it got me even more excited for the rest of the album!
