you know besides every album rollout prior to the year 2010

 

Honestly this rollouts been totally fine, really good even. They’ve constantly kept us engaged with new info every couple months, interviews coming out to go along with that news, still like 3 months away but who cares, we’ll get a few more singles and a bunch of other really good albums until then.

 

anyone else having trouble with the tour date sign up? keeps telling me to click a privacy policy box that doesnt exist...

 

I am also kind of seeing it partly as a rollout for Notes On a Conditional Form. I know we haven't heard anything from it, but there have been articles that describe it. Matty also mentions it a lot in interviews. Its like Avengers 4 coming out next year. Once it comes out- the two will be most likely thought of as one whole piece in the band's history. So, as a rollout for an entire era of the band that will consist of two albums and a massive tour- I don't mind the wait.

 

What size venues are we expecting for this tour announcement Monday? In STL, I can imagine them being able to fill something bigger than The Pageant, but the only place I can think of would be the Amphitheater, which would be absolutely wild

 

I am wondering where they are hitting for the Bay Area. Maybe the Shoreline if they are trying for amphitheaters. UC Theater maybe as a backup?

 

Chaifetz maybe?

 

Monday is just going to be an announcement of the 30 day countdown until the tour announcement :P

 

Yeah that would make sense, also insane. Plus I’d assume the shows gonna be in the winter so that rules out any outdoor venues. It looks like last time they were here they played the Peabody, so Chaifetz would be a big jump, but I think they’re popularity has grown a lot since ILIWYS

 

ah i forgot about Peabody, that's what i'd put my money on for STL.

 

They filled the Peabody in 2016

 

I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a UK/EU tour announced first.

Was there ever any update to what the MyStonerGirlfriend fiasco was? I remember during the 30-day countdown, people found information on it within the website or something, and it linked to an Instagram and people were theorizing that it was going to be Matty's personal clothing line or something.
