I like Vheissu more but I think the production may be better on the new record than anything they have done.. Just work with this guy forever please

I like "Moths" alright, but I never understood why it got so much love, especially in their live sets, when "Stand and Feel Your Worth" never got much play.

I want to hear Call It In The Air live SO badly, with you on that complaint. This isn't a popular opinion, but M/M really hit the spot and is still in my top 3. Maybe it's the nostalgia of being the first Thrice record I picked up in stores on release day helping out a bit, but that record is just so punchy.

I'll echo the Call It In The Air vote. I thought Treading Paper sounded great though

Don't think they're ever gonna be an album tour band if they left Vheissu go by without one.

I listened to this constantly for a week, but haven't been back to it because of the new Gates album, but man TBEITBN is still stuck in my head. That's not a slight against Gates because Parallel Lives is really freaking good.

I wish I could get into this album, but nothing stands out for me :\. Surprisingly, I just checked out Dustin's christian side project and actually have been enjoying that a lot more ( tend to hate praise music- they all usually sound the same with rather unimaginative lyrics/musicianship)

Worship music at my church starts to sound awful cult-y after 6x chorus repeats and becomes unnerving. Sounds more like 300 people reciting a mantra than music, I totally agree with this.

I love the album version, the live version was just as amazing, if not more. I thought the setlist was great. personally, overall, I thought it sounded great. a friend of mine said they sounded off, but didn't really say why. you could definitely tell Dustin forgot some of the lyrics. it looked like everyone was having a lot of fun on the stage, which was great to see. don't want to spoil the setlist as requested earlier (and someone posted a link, if you wanted it anyway), but it was so awesome to see them play one of those songs for the encore as I've never seen it live, and it's one of my favorites from that album. my biggest takeaway was seeing the band just having fun. the break was much needed, and I think their new way of touring/writing or whatever is going to help extend their longevity.

merch was great. bought two shirts, the hoodie, the vinyl, and the poster. came so close to buying the hat but realized I didn't want to perpetuate the dad rock stereotype :P

    I kid, of course!

but it was sad to see a few people walk away from the merch table with about 5 copies of the vinyl...hoping they pressed a lot of it for others to have so there isn't another Alchemy Index situation.

Two copies is fine; one to frame, one to listen to, but five? C'mon, man. Everybody knows what you're about to do with the extras when you walk away from the merch table with that many.

Just looked at the setlist. One thing that came to my mind is "Man, some people must have been mad!" Good setlist by the way.

They should limit the tour variant to one per person. That's scummy to buy more than one.

It's only scummy if you're going to flip it. But if you're buying one for a friend or relative that either can't make the show, or won't be there until late, I can't understand.

I'm a little late to the discussion, but "Like Moths to Flame" is incredible. The outro alone is one of my favorite moments on any Thrice record. It's probably partially cause I resonate with the lyrical content and the heaviness is so appropriate. Probably my favorite song on Vheissu outside of "For Miles" and maybe "Of Dust and Nations".

Also, happy to hear "Treading Paper" is being played. I think that's one of the most underrated Thrice songs out there.

I actually have 2 smoke Variants, but I will buy the tour variant if it's available. I'm gonna arrive a bit late for the concert so I am gonna try and get one of my friends or my brother to buy it while they are there before me.
