Mack was my favorite player on the team. Emotions aside, I would never want to pay him what the Bears just paid him.

Yeah, you can take Mack over Gruden if you had to choose. But what’s more important to the franchise in the long run? A great coach with those extra first round picks and all that money saved, or one defensive player (albiet an amazing one)?

The league is trending offensive. Mack is not the difference between this team being good and this team being bad. Super Bowls can be won by building a defense full of average-to-good players and getting stars on the offensive side of the ball. Look back over the last 10 years, aside from Zombie Peyton Manning with Denver, how many teams won purely on their defense? Not many.

Raiders have emerging young players on defense. Arden Key will be great. I will always root for Mack but I never want to see my team spending stupid money like that on a linebacker.

Honestly, to avoid that big contact and to get those first rounders, great bit of business by Oakland. Great move for Chicago too. Both sides win, IMO.

I still don't understand why they keep trying to convince this dude to not retire...

How was John Jerry still in the NFL? That dude sucked in Miami

People keep throwing this out there like Gronk and James White weren’t going to be primary targets either way. Dorsett is at best the 4th option.

Does the AFC East have one WR1 between them?

There's no doubt that far and away the best receiver in that division Week 1 is a TE. Id call Edelman a WR1 when he's back..he's a 100rec/1000yd guy.

The rest is a lot of guys who work well as a #2, but struggle as a 1. And having two of the teams not have a QB doesnt help

Robby Anderson was decent, right? But I suppose if I need to ask if a player was decent means they aren’t a WR1.

    “Patriots WR depth sucks!”

Patriots also have the best WR in the division, the best tight end who is basically a receiver in the game, and the best QB with a history of elevating WRs talents.

Meanwhile, the Jets have....Robby Anderson lol

Is the afc east the most boring division in football? Probably

Their depth does suck though haha.

Also, the best receiver in the division being a 32 year old facing susussususpsusussususpesusussususpsusussususpensusussususpsusussususpesusussususpsusussususpenssusussususpsusussususpesusussususpsusussususpensusussususpsusussususpesusussususpsusussususpensisuspesusussususpsusussususpenssusussususpsusussususpesusussususpsusussususpensusussususpsusussususpesusussususpsusussususpensiouspesusussususpsusussususpenssusussususpsusussususpesusussususpsusussususpensusussususpsusussususpesusussususpsusussususpension after an ACL tear says more about the division than the Pats.

Says a lot about how much Kenny Stills sucks. Pats have the division locked up by December.

I feel like it could be a 10-6 season for the pats this year, no real reason just a hunch

also late to the mack on the bears talk, not worried about the bears as a whole, but after watching barr kill rodgers last season adding a player like macks talent to the division does worry me a little about rodgers getting killed again tbh

Cause you're looking at their roster and they have one of the most questionable rosters in the league but are also the Pats and nothing bad happens to them

None of what you said changes what I said

I also know that the pats will go 12-4 or better and get a bye

Still doesn't change what I said
