$20 I might've done, hard to say. But $40 was beyond the point I'd even consider it, especially with the matches going on NJPW at some point. Whereas $10 I'd definitely have done it.

But who knows. The Bucks have shown they have a really good head for business. Maybe they are correct in thinking that while more people would've bought it at $20 or $10, it wouldn't have been a x2 or x4 increase.

The thing about the Janella spot is that even from the poor camera angle I was like "no way is that close enough to the stage."

I personally loved the Cody match and the spectacle they made it. Him winning the NWA belt got me misty-eyed a bit, as a huge dusty mark.

 

So Friday night Sami Calihan was doing a spot where he was throwing a bunch of chairs, I'm guessing into the ring? And somebody started yelling over the speakers at him to stop or pay for them (not kayfabe) he didn't stop then security came out and forced him to stop. They then kicked him out of the arena lol.


Also Brody King got a concussion a minute into his match then went on to win a title. He remembers none of it. That's good.

Also Joey Janela and Penelope Ford are my favorite thing in wrestling and they deserved this as much as anyone.

 

Penelope Ford was absolutely the highlight of the show for me

 

Also did Marty get hurt? Cause he didn’t come out after the show went off the air when they were doing that big speech

I feel like he didn't take much part in the planning and booking so I guess maybe he didn't belong out there at the end?

 

I've been starting to sour on Sami and this isn't really helping his cause in my book

 

Sami has been trash for a long loooong time

 

He's had WAYYY too many incidents in the past year for me not to just want him to go away. Which is sad, because I thought he was gonna be huge after his LU run.

He leaned into the heel thing after the Eddie chair/bat spot...that was whatever...but this is like the 5th or 6th incident since that.
