Sweetener is on vinyl now at her store! Wish it wasn’t black but ordered that so fast.

 

The title track is so good I don't even know how I feel about the rest of the album because I keep repeating that one song

 

On first listen I like this a lot. I was skeptical at first because "blazed" is pretty weak and "the light is coming" wasnt a lot better, but after that it really picked up. The only other track I wasn't feeling was "borderline" which is the most basic Pharrell beat

Standouts are "REM", "sweetener", "successful", "goodnight n go"

If it was up to me I’d cut like 5 songs, but otherwise I like this album a lot, especially the Pharrel songs

 

Planning on getting an Ariana themed tattoo in a few months. Looking at getting something with the bunny mask and some lyrics from this guy. I'm thinking something from Greedy but I'm not really sure.

I can totally imagine a duet on a Heaven's Gate-like song. If Patrick ever puts out another solo album, I hope it happens.
