My buddy works in the kitchen at Bottom Lounge. He told me yesterday there's definitely aftershows there but he wasn't informed on who's playing

 

A organization at my school was doing a contest for two riot fest passes today haha

 

At least Scorched Tundra Fest will be fun this weekend, and they have an announced lineup. So ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

This isn't a surprise because that entire weekend is open.

Let's say the show gets cancelled - what are y'all doing that weekend instead? I'd be really bummed, but Blink 182, Liz Phair, and Matt & Kim are all in Michigan that weekend, so it wouldn't be a ~total~ loss, I guess?

Same. I’m confused by all of this. I’m going Friday and Saturday but have no clue who I’m seeing... and that sucks.

 

I was talking about this with my mom and she asked the same question. My answer was: travel to Michigan for blink concert.

But let's hope it doesn't get cancelled

 

Trying to find some other way to spend our time in Chicago for 5 days. I'd be so damn bummed. Really looking forward to this weekend.

 

Yeah, I would also probably travel to a blink show. Maybe Columbus on Saturday.

Maybe a stupid question, but do you need a fest ticket or wristband to get into the aftershows? Or are they open to the public?

 

Tickets for the aftershows are a completely seperate thing, if you wanted to go to an aftershow and not the fest itself you can just purchase a ticket to the aftershow.

 

A few weeks back I said as a joke that theu will announce the 2nd wave and daily schedule after september 1st, so people wont claim their free day ticket

I know you dont need to specify a day, but a lot of people dont know that and were waiting for daily schedule to claim the ticket

Maybe they were doing this so they give away the less free tickets they can?

 

I'm not entirely sold on this being the case since people like me who did layaway have until the 7th to redeem our free ticket, but you could be right since the majority of people did not do layaway.

 

Well, that's a depressing thought, but... Given that I'm traveling from Boston? I'd just cancel the trip and put the money toward Fest instead.
