I’m assuming that works if I wanted to buy an Apple Watch and an additional band. I can favorite both and then as soon as pre-orders go up I go to what I favorited and just use Apple Pay.

Yes, that should work as well. I've never specifically tried to favorite Apple watch ahead of time, but you'll have plenty of time to find out.

 

I love the look of that new watch face.

 

I remember when I bought the original Apple Watch. I woke up at 2:45AM, bought the Watch at 3AM and then could not go back to sleep because I was too excited.

 

Hahahahahahahaha. SAME. My wife thought I was nuts.

 

Girlfriends don't understand the power of new Apple gadgets hype. (At least, my imaginary one doesn't )

 

Gonna have to see what the deal is when everything's announced. My 7 is holding up really well compared to other iPhones I've had that are this old (and with all of the reports of iOS12 working wonders on old devices...) and my iPad Air 2 in particular is basically as good as the day I got it. Might have to finally cave for a watch, though.

 

Does anybody know if product(red) iPhones disappear when the next year is released? I’m just assuming so since it seems you can only buy the 7 in the other colors still, but I guess could be a supplies thing.

 

That's awesome. This year was my first year ordering at launch for anything through Apple. The X was the phone I dreamed about having for years so I had to do it. Just ended up staying awake the entire night because of how I excited I was.

 

How does preordering through Apple work for new phones? On my Verizon plan I have 100 or so dollars left to pay to early upgrade my 8 plus. Can I preorder through apple and pay the difference of early upgrading? When you preorder through apple do you have to login with you carrier information? How does that work?

 

Loving my new iPhone X, but I do have one issue:

My Apple Music library is not updating on my phone. To get it to refresh, I have to force it by toggling the iCloud Music Library and Cellular Data sliders.

 

I have this issue sometimes - as well as albums being released but not properly updatin, forcing me to delete and re-add tracks. Seems to be random though. Hopefully iOS 12 has it working/updating a bit more consistently.

Today WSTR, Muncie Girls and Good Charlottes album updated just after midnight with no issues. Alkaline Trio didn’t though and I had to remove and re-add all he non pre-release tracks to get them to work.

 

Weird. I haven't had a single issue with this until I got my new phone. A quick internet search shows other people have experienced the same thing, but there doesn't seem to be anything other than a likely-temporary fix at the moment.

 

You cannot pay the difference on the Apple site, in my experience. That balance has to be paid off ahead of time or you have to go through Verizon.

 

Anyone else having this issue with iOS 12 beta 9 - before and after updating I get a continuous reminder that says I have to update. It’s getting really annoying.

 

When you preorder through apple, can you do the financing through your carrier or does it have to apples financing or bought out right?

Yup, happening in my Mini 4, just about every time I unlock it. Irritating but seems like a one off beta issue.

 

I went through a phase where it all just worked flawlessly. Think it might have been during 11.4. Ever since it’s reverted back to being hit or miss during the .1 etc. updates.

 

They just dropped beta 10. Probably got a TON of complaints.

 

Looks like it’s fixed with that new beta update haha

 

Annoying update pop up is gone, yay!

 

You do have the carrier financing options when ordering through Apple.

 

Upgrading my phone soon. Will probably wait for the keynote this month though to compare prices. Should I expect the iPhone X price to drop a bit or nah?
