I had no idea this was coming out already, or that Man of Stone was available.

    It’s great.

It’s a pretty new thing (in a great way) but I definitely think it’s most reminicent of The Nashville Tennis EP.

    Fight the long defeat.

This is the best news I could hear for this release. That's a seriously underrated batch of songs from RK.

So this is just gonna be on Spotify when I wake up tomorrow morning then? Despite no promo campaign whatsoever (that I’ve seen, anyway)?

Maybe Matt makes real good RK residuals and doesn't need to promote his stuff haha

I may be wrong, but hasn’t he started doing songwriting for pop songs in the background? Or at least did a few a couple of years back?

I love this after my first listen. Crazy how it simultaneously sounds like his most low key yet most ambitious project so far. Can’t wrap my head around the complexity of all these songs, but they’re so approachable too. Truly unique and surprising. I’m psyched to spin it a bunch tomorrow.

I'm really liking this too, definitely a lot of layers to unpack after I get through the first listen. These songs would totally fit in with any of the stuff he released for the My Other Band or Revolution compilation albums. Also reminds me of the acoustic songs on the Creepy EP, especially the original Jefferson Aeroplane demo.

Played this twice at work and it's wonderful! The female vocalist adds so much to this, great addition. Didn't realize King played drums on this too.. that's awesome! Gonna have to pay attention to the drums more next listen
