My next "want" would definitely be the bezel-less iPad. My Air2 still has been working great though, so I don't know if I need one quite yet.

Having had a 6 Plus since it’s launch I think it’s time that I upgrade but I’ll probably get the 6.1 LCD phone due to me buying a watch.

 

I have the series 1. Want to upgrade but I think I may be ok with a series 3 depending on what the series 4 brings to the table

 

I have a series 0 watch so it'll be time for a nice upgrade but I might wait till around my birthday to do that

but I definitely want that gold Xs

 

What happened to your series 3?

 

I returned it - was an impulse purchase at the time haha

 

gold color is a nice addition, but I actually kinda like the downgrade in size from my 6s plus to the X

Yeah, my Mini 4 works great still - and I mostly use it for couch surfing and watching movies/tv shows when travelling.. so I probably don't need an upgrade.

 

my air 2 is great, can't imagine i'd be upgrading any time soon.

 

I have an OG ipad air that I mostly use to read comics, could def benefit from an upgrade. I think priority falls to my on-it's-last-legs 2010 MBP tho

 

Do it. Went from an '08 Macbook to '17 MBP and it was like I entered a whole new dimension.

 

My Air2 was running fine until pretty recently but it has really gone down hill in the last 3 months. Rotation will stop working, takes forever to start up, just slow as hell in general. I'm pretty pumped that I can now buy the bezel-less iPad and it's actually more of a "need" than a "want". Here's to hoping yours craps out soon like mine did!

the only thing i don't like about my Air 2 is that I still have to fingerprint scan. FaceID has revolutionized my life.

 

Shit nevermind I must have the original Air because mine doesn't even have a fingerprint scanner built into the home button. So @Jason Tate you might have another year left or so haha.

 

the difference between the Air 2 and iPad Pro is life changing mainly because of the promotion

 

I know, I feel like I'm always waiting now.

Also, being able to touch the screen to check something. I touch Hannah's iPhone 6S and think it's broken when the screen doesn't wake up.

 

Yes! This too haha, my wife has an 8 and i feel like its completely inferior because i have to press the button the wake the screen lol

 

I have two questions for people who have pre-ordered online.

1) How frustrating is it when the pre-orders launch? Do you basically refresh your tab/open the Apple store app on your phone at 11:59 and wait or does it just become a mess at that point and you have to wait minutes for anything to load?

2) Would purchasing an item be more convenient on an iPad or iPhone so that you can just use Apple Pay instead of typing your card information? I've also read that the iOS store app usually updates before the website does.

 

Last year was incredibly easy. Had my order placed within like two minutes. Always use the Apple Store app. Also recommend going in to the app and favoriting the exact phone you want ahead of preorders going live, because they let you do that.

 

It’s frustrating for me every single time. Something is always not available, or I can’t ship it, or none of the stores near me will carry the specific model I want, etc.

I usually use the Apple Store app, and it’s functional, it’s just their supply chain that seems so confusing, but it really depends on where you are and what model you want.

I’m considering the XS Plus, if it’s real. I will not be shocked if the specific color I want, and on board memory size I want, is the most limited model. Every. Single. Year.

 

You can apple pay on a macbook or imac too and keep in mind its always midnight PST which means in NY i have to get up at 2:45 am to smack myself in the face to wake up and get the computer out in time

 

But in my experience theyve made it pretty easy to roll over, spend $500, then go back to sleep
