The more I think about it, the more bad I feel for the person who sent that Reader article out. Two years ago I sent the wrong email offer out to thousands and thousands of people. I remember getting the call from my boss and I seriously was convinced I was fired. Still so thankful I wasn't!!

Alternative Press seems pretty pessimistic about this being reality.

 

Maybe Riot provided compelling arguments/evidence that the article would look bad in a few hours?

Until they tweet something, I have to believe it's coming today. They're never this quiet.

 

Maybe not even someone with Riot Fest, but instead whoever has the press release for the announcement at AP. Honestly, I don't see any other reason to delete an article written about why they aren't going to be the headliner unless you found out they are and want to save face.

AP just likes to stir shit up. They post an article with a similar tone (and less compelling evidence) every time somebody from My Chemical Romance brushes their teeth. “Are they getting back together, or no?!!”

The tone is just designed to try and get people talking.

Somebody would have had to have reeeeally fucked up at the Reader for that to be the headline and not have Bauhaus be on the line-up.
