  1. Yeah, it looks like iCloud is down at the moment.

I don't mind it failing sometimes, BUT FAIL GRACEFULLY. A dialog box showing up in my face, bouncing my dock icon every few minutes, means I can't even listen to my local files! And, that pisses me off.

  2. Local files are playing fine for me, but yeah, the icon bouncing and dialogue box are incredibly annoying.

  3. I mean, I can play them, but the interruption makes it basically not worth it.

    Anger face.

I can't even access my iCloud documents right now due to the outage... and I have a final portfolio due tomorrow. PERFECT timing...

I guess I spoke too soon... looks like that is at least back up. I couldn't access them earlier.

Multiple copies of everything important is standard operating procedure. Always keep a copy on a local disk somewhere, one on your computer, and one offsite (which for most people is a cloud service of some kind)

Does anybody know of really good budget app? I'm very strict on my budget/banking and I'd like something that would allow me to input amounts for my bills, set them up for auto pay and have the app pull my checking/savings totals periodically. Too much to ask for one app?

Yeah I always keep my most important documents on my hard drive too, but generally if I'm gonna be lazy and only save to one I choose the cloud in case something happens to my laptop. Probably not that wise but it is what it is.

Is there anyway to dismiss an alarm before it goes off in iOS? I've been looking for an option but can't find it. In Android I used to get a silent notification when an alarm was scheduled to go off in the next hour or so that I could "dismiss" to skip the alarm without turning it off completely. Super convenient when you have a dog that frequently wakes you up before your alarm goes off in the morning but you don't want to turn off your daily alar and remember to turn it back on

Has anyone been having any issues with their iPhones not wanting to connect to wifi? I'm not even 10 feet from my router and it won't connect. Working fine on my laptop though. I reset network settings, forgot the network then rejoined, restarted my router, and restarted my phone. It's ridiculous at this point.

Edit: Looks like it's working now. Still ridiculous, though.

    I'm Back.

Mine does that from time to time, I'm on iOS 9.2.3.

Yeah I'm on 9.3.2. Unless that's also what you meant haha. Either way, super frustrating.

  14. I don't think so, even asking Siri to do it seems, from my testing, to cancel but not reset it.

I forget every time to turn it back on. Much needed feature.

Damn that's inconvenient. My dog wakes me up before my alarm regularly so I usually end up having my alarm go off while I'm out walking her. Not a huge deal but it's been bugging me

  17. Is there a third party one yet?

Probably, I'll check. I've never been a huge fan of using third party apps for the OS level basics but I definitely miss this feature so I'll look, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. Lot of stuff I'm still not good at and I'm finding a bit unintuitive but it'll probably get better with time if I decide to stick around.

I know you've always been an android user so I'm curious, why the switch to iOS?

Basically just to try it. At work we make both iPhone and Android apps, and while the emulator in Xcode is good it's not always perfect for knowing exactly how an app looks and feels on a device so I got one to test out the apps as we're building them. I haven't had a chance to use an iPhone extensively in a couple generations and there have obviously been changes so as long as I've got the thing why not? I don't expect it to be permanent, I committed (to no one but myself) to make the switch for a week and see how it went. This is day 3.

Do or do not, there is no try.

I use one called Visual Budget, I paid like £1.50 to get full features. It lets me add all my recurring bills and manually enter all my transactions. I always have a visual on what I available ahead of time, very helpful.

Apple Music worked (mostly) fine for me up until a couple of weeks ago. Now random songs will get cut short, or the gap between them will be indefinite. It's incredibly frustrating and I have tried so many different ways of fixing it to no avail.

Has anyone had issues with location accuracy on 9.3.2? Siri thinks I'm on the east coast of Texas right now and every other time I visit this website specifically all the times are Pacific. I live in Buffalo NY. I've also had problems with the NHL app showing times in Central.

Mint is the savior of my personal finances. It does everything and more that you are asking for although I have not tried their bill pay service. Best thing is that Mint is free.
