I doubt the creatures are “attracted” to loud noises to the point where they always want to be around loud noises, I’m sure it’s more a predatory function for them. They hear something, and they hunt it. I would assume naturally loud places like the waterfall, they would hear and go to, realize there is nothing to hunt and then leave.

I’m trying to think of a good movie in the last 10 years that made a lot of money and could have potential for a sequel but never had one. I can’t think of one.
