Absolutely. So they could have Kamara, Thomas and Bridgewater as the offense of the future (and technically now too lol)

 

Maybe Im missing something, but Drew Brees is an uncuttable cap hit this year and next and Bridgewater is on a one-year deal. I get the whole "insurance against injury" thing, but, this is odd

 

Like, I know Brees regressed but still random.. but less so when you realize saints usually draft or pay someone to be a solid backup almost yearly.

 

Maybe the saints thought the Bucs were trying to trade for him? Idk

 

Brees absolutely did not regress from the year before

his YPA and completion % were much better in 2017 than they were in 2016. He just threw the ball like 150 times less.

 

Maybe the 39 year old is tired of playing the footba.
