Poor Pettis if that happens to be the case.

Doubtful either pull out though. Neither ever really have issue making weight.

Ha if Pettis gets shafted thanks to another Khabib/Tony-related injury, that will be insane. Hopefully everything rolls out smoothly so we can get some movement going.

It's crazy that the "race" between Khabib and Tony to get the fight with Conor actually came down to who was simply healthy enough to wait it out and make it to fight night.

Negative. It’s been confirmed by multiple sources as well as Pettis. Tony has confirmed he’s training for 229, just didn’t name Pettis likely cause he’s hoping to be a replacement for someone in the title match.

Also, Colby sits around on social networks talking shit like a teenager. Can’t stand this guy, glad he got shafted.

I met Curtis Blaydes, Anthony Smith and Matt Hughes today. It’s been an awesome first live event so far.

They’re working on Lee v Iaquinta. Literally leaves no one for Gaethje now.

I know Vick was mostly just hyping up the fight with the things he was saying, but I still think he underestimated him a bit. I got the vibe he thought the damage Justin sustained in his last few fights would make him an easy fight. It was actually kind of nice seeing him get a fight (and win) without almost dying for once.

Was out of town so only caught the highlights, but yeesh, Gaethje cut Vick down with a quickness. The Anders head kick was something too.

God I love Whittaker. So humble and professional. Fantastic ambassador for the sport and for Australia.

It also doesn't hurt that he's an absolutely amazing fighter. One of few champs currently in the sport that I think is genuinely on top without argument.

I agree. It was cool to see GSP win that belt, but I think to just about everyone it more or less felt like it was just a good win over Bisping (if that makes sense)... Whittaker was the one out there fighting (and beating) the contenders.

GSP: I’m still the greatest of all time. Gimme a champion to prove it.

    *proves it. Drops belt.*

I don't think anyone is getting a shot anytime soon.

Perhaps the winner of this v the winner of Curtis v Francis?

    Who does Stipe fight?
