I just read a review that said a lot of the songs run together. I don't like to hear that.

 

Review by a fan or a magazine style reviewer who has to do write ups for 5 different records a week?

I find that a lot of the reviewers here share similar tastes, or people who post in different threads that I do carry far more weight in their feedback for me.

 

Meh, no more than pretty much every other Alk 3 album. I disagree.

 

Besides, so many early reviews are judged solely off speculation from previously-released songs since a majority of promo copies just went out at the end of last week (from what I can tell). I think the problem is a lot of those sites just want views/clicks without reviews containing substance. Legit reviews will begin to come in tomorrow/Thursday.

 

Most of the first impressions and reviews, I have no knowledge of the people or sites writing them so I never put too much stock in anything. And some are easily discountable right away from how poorly written they are lol

I'll take your word for it ! The review also said Is This Thing Cursed ? is an awful opener because of how boring the song is.

I only heard the first single once and I’m very excited to dive into this fresh album in only 3 days

 

Cursed is as about as perfect an opener as I've heard from anybody so that reviewer officially knows jack squat lol

general consensus seems to be it -sounds like alkaline trio, -is good

 

I heard the song live and loved it so I think I'm gonna wait for the album to hear the studio version

 

Demon and Division is good stuff! That Dan bridge owns.

 

Hmm, I like the song, but is it just me or does that bridge sound a little messy? It's almost like they get in the way of each other, I'm having a hard time hearing what they're singing.

 

Fuck yeah. This rules.

I'm so happy to be excited about new Trio.
