Imagine walking up behind someone at their desk at work and they were doing that (photoshopping David Hogg into a woman) ... I feel like I'd have no idea how to handle my reaction.

 

Normal country we got here.

 

Would never teach at or allow my kids to go to a school where teachers are armed.

 

I'm nervous about this because my wife just got a job at a school. I don't know enough about what's going on here.

 

I had a PD meeting with this morning with all the staff at my school and the city’s police came to present. It was actually really good with updated methods we can use to prepare for an incident and what we do if one were to happen. At the end, one of the cops addressed the elephant in the room and said he strongly disagrees with teachers being armed. But one thing some schools are doing is having an active shooter drill where police come in and do a mock shooting with blanks, to simulate one and prepare the students...and we all looked at each other with our mouths open. I still can’t believe it.

 

Trump is right that flipping should be illegal. So are all the people who said that admitting to something in a plea deal doesn't mean they actually did it. Weird how easily people believe that cops will plant evidence or kill people for no reason but the idea that prosecutors will act without concern for the truth is so crazy
