War Groove should definitely scratch that itch!

Been trying to figure out how to answer this.

I think you will, since both games have platforming and you repeat levels because they're fun. Hollow Knight focuses on exploration and character power ups and combat, while Celeste just flat out focuses on platforming. Both does collectibles and have hidden areas to find.

Hollow Knight has some stuff in common with Dark Souls: losing currency upon death, with a one-time chance of recovering it, learning attack patterns, so many goddamn boss fights but some are optional, map is big but connected and as you progress you find shortcuts so backtracking becomes easier.

Celeste is more similar to games like VVVVVV, and maybe Donkey Kong Country Returns.

EDIT: Now I realized VVVVVV has a connected large map like Hollow Knight and Castlevania... I think I give up haha.

Have any of you beaten Wizard of legend??? The bosses are way too hard haha.

If I can’t beat wizard of legend will I struggle with Celeste?

this might be a tough comparison since they're different kinds of games, but Celeste has a death counter on every level, so I think the point is to kinda struggle with it haha

edit: i have not played wizard of legend tho

I was continuing my replay of BotW some months ago, and totally forgot I about this game. Haven't finished it as well haha.

But Celeste is easier to finish imo just because you can repeat the level immediately after dying.

I haven't passed the second boss in WoL but I finished (at least the main story) Celeste in one weekend. Celeste is very difficult but never feels impossible, again because you can continue to repeat sections and it's very easy to pin point the exact thing you need to do better to pass it. WoL just makes me feel hopeless haha.

Hollow Knight is really, really good. I clocked in 22 hours in about 3 days and that hasn't happened in a very long time. I love this game a lot, def one of the best games (if not the best one) I've played this year.

Honestly the only good collectors ones were the xenoblade chronicles and spaltoon ones, and idk if it’s just because since I’ve been playing smash since melee but I cant comfortably play smash on any other controller besides a GameCube controller

The Amazon Prime preorder discount ends tomorrow. So I finally did my Smash Bros and Let’s Go preorders yesterday.

Yeah Splatoon one gave me high hope for smash but I'd most likely use GameCube controller anyway

The GameCube controller is a work of art. It was/is so darn comfy.

I'm disappointed, but I understand it. How would you build levels when docked? You can't use the touch screen.

I would just say screw it and make it not touch screen anymore. Super Mario Maker on the switch with the install base would be amazing.

I absolutely loved how the level creation felt on the touchscreen though. I feel like it would just be so much of a chore with a controller.
