The jets could probably keep teddy till the deadline and then start darnold the rest of the way perhaps or just start mccown a few games first, whichever. Depends if the OL is really as horrid as it could turn out to be.

Steelers do not need a WR unless he specifically will be a return man, but wasting a roster spot on someone who just returns doesn't make sense since there will be difficult decisions on who to keep and cut on the defensive side of the ball.

I think Teddy is the least likely QB to start a game for NYJ, barring injury of course. Just looking at QB depth charts around the league, he would make sense for any of these teams imo- Jax, NYG, Miami, Seattle, Dallas, Buffalo

 

He'd probably be the week 1 starter for Buffalo at this point lmao

Antonio & DeAndre are better than OBJ so I consider them both bargains once OBJ is signed

 

His injury lingering is an enormous liability, but if he's as good as he was before it, I have no problem with him being the highest paid WR. He's amazing.

 

There’s also more CB in the league who can handle him than Antonio or DeAndre. Granted he absolutely PUNISHES defenders who can’t handle him.

OBJ’s weakness is certainly strong press coverage. With Brown / Hopkins you can have two guys all over them and they will beat both - Brown is elusive / deceptive as hell while Hopkins is very physical and crazy coordinated at the catch point. Plus both really know how to release from press at the line.

Meanwhile, some CB are able to just abuse OBJ at the line and get him flustered. Like, I might have to eat my words but I am not worried at all about OBJ if we stick Ramsey on him.

 

65M GTD would scare the shit out of me with an OBJ type.
