Who the hell is Bortles going to throw to this year other than Chark?

 

Keelan Cole was the leading receiver last year. Moncrief is also better than Chark right now. They’re also gonna throw to a woman abuser for some fucking reason.

 

Now I’m not saying that’s a promising group. Because it definitely isn’t haha. I am very worried about our passing game this year.

Chark is raw. He looks like he will be good in time, but he has work to do.

 

Bortles and Dede Westbrook (fuck Dede Westbrook) have a great connection it seems. Moncrief exists. Keelan Cole hopefully won't regress. DJ Chark is a motherfuckin baller and will be dope as hell. ASJ....exists.

Not lately. He tries to throw to open parts of the field now. He is just bad at it and sometimes just totally misses, in the direction of a defender lol

 

This reminds me - it’s clear as day the Jags are trying to throw a lot more to our runningbacks.

Grant, Yeldon, and Fournette are all gonna be consistent targets in the passing game. I know that sounds crazy but I am like 95% confident in that, based on this preseason, and how good ALL THREE of them are at catching & making dudes miss out of the backfield.

Personally, I think the right answer for the Jets is to start Teddy until the Jets are out of it and then ease Darnold in. They have more than enough cap space to eat the McCown money and have him be odd man out instead.

I think he ends up getting traded to a situation where he’s just an above average backup with no real shot at starting, barring injury. I don’t even know who has a bad backup QB and cares. I’ll guess Seattle because they were supposedly in on Brissett
