We are being linked to a few strikers who I don't see taking a backup role. If we bring in a guy like Lacazette or Batshuyai do you think we'd see a change of formation with two strikers up top?

Bellerin's going nowhere. As is Simeone, who rejected PSG today to stay at Atletico.

 

Vardy is only good in a counter attacking team. Against teams that drop back and play two deep blocks, he's no use because he's very limited technically. He's a quick player, that works hard and has a tidy finish, but that's the only system he can play in. There's a reason he's a late bloomer; he's a very limited footballer.

 

That Colombia starting line-up is fucking terrifying. COME ON YOU YANKS.

I have no complaints with this, but I think most of you want Nagbe.

 

Bradley as a 6 and Jones as an 8 is so stupid. Probably my only complaint. How much CB has Cameron even played for Stoke?

 

Bradley is best as a 6, imo. And I think Cameron has been a CB for them all season.

 

But why shoehorn Jones into a box to box role? Jones has been at his best when he screens the back four. Bradley has made his name as a box to box midfielder, but Jurgen wants a 34 year old Jones covering that ground?

 

From what I've gathered, that's what Jones is doing at Colorado these days.

 

Remember center back Jones? Anything is better than that.

I think you will still see Bradley coming back a lot. #1 because he likes to, #2 we are going to get out possessed by Colombia so he will have to be back more.
